#Inspirations from the craft table. Quote of the day from “Tasha Tudor’s Heirloom Crafts”

From the incredible book, Tasha Tudor’s Heirloom Crafts (T. Martin, R.W. Brown, 1995 Houghton Mifflin Company)

Tasha never truly left childhood and all its winged dreams behind.  If you try to discover the source of her fountain of youth, she calmly explains that her imagination never faded.  Her favorite injunction, often spoken with some impatience, is “Use your imagination!” (page 133)

This book is filled with beautiful photographs of Tasha’s lifestyle, home and crafts.  Reading it is a vacation.  I could live like Tasha.  I do in my imagination.  My apartment may be very small and very urban, but my heart is in a cozy cottage.
