Introducing “Nabokov’s Scarf” Birds on Post Street! #tiddlecup #crafts

Comment 1 Standard

Perfecting the technique of using a scarf to emulate the lush feel and precious, expensive quality of a B.Ella sock.  It’s another great way to re-use vintage scarves (also see my owl).  I literally wore the scarf as I was cutting it to design the bird.  The result fits perfectly in a teacup and its face can only be described as Nabokovian– i.e toffee-nosed and professorial.

Sending a flock of samples around the world soon!

Scarf bird in the teacup, B.Ella Robin in the espresso cup!

“…she promptly replied with melodious silvery precision (a bird, a very bird!)…” – Vladimir Nabokov, Lolita
