On October 9, 2010 I embarked on a pilgrimage to THE SOCKSHOP ON HAIGHT while visiting my daughter, Anna, in San Francisco! Wow- it did not disappoint! Due to my hectic art therapy schedule, I have not had time to cut into one of the socks yet, but they are ready to go and I cannot wait! I am ready to make new POSTSTREET product and ready to revamp my ETSY store!
Anticipating visiting the shop just down the street! Taking a lunch break first at BIAS on Haight and Belvedere.
OK- ready to go! Hurry!
We're here!!! OMG OMG OMG
This place is BUSY!!! Anna and I get into ambush mode!
Not only wall to wall socks but also baskets of monkeys decorate the store
READY! "Why are they buying so many socks?" say people in the long lineup behind us
Cheshire cat smile of satisfaction. There were only 6 pairs of red-heel socks and I scored them all. Evil-ness.
The start of a beautiful relationship! So many ideas on bringing Operation Sock Monkey and POSTSTREET to San Francisco and at-risk youth!
